JJ Gallichan (19): 200m, 400m, 1,500m freestyle and relays. Liverpool John Moores University student. Going to his third Games with eight medals to his name and one mission: to challenge the Faroe Island’s Pal Joensen, a World Championship swimmer, for the freestyle medals. Last year in the 1,500m freestyle he won bronze at the Youth Nationals and silver in the BUCS Championships. This year he was fourth in the 800m at the Nationals.
